| Welcome to the Field Music of the
American Revolution site. The FMAR was first formed in 1994 at Findlay, Ohio from the combined mass music of the Northwest Department Brigade of the American Revolution, and Northwest Territorial Alliance. FMAR now is the combined music of 5 different American Revolutionary War reenacting organizations. For those who do not know the NWTA, and BAR are all American Revolution reenactment organizations that's objective is to portray the American Revolution as authentically as possible. They put on weekend long shows throughout the Northeast United States. Their main strength lies in portraying the weapons and battle tactics of the Revolution, the music is a small part of the overall show.
